Lots of rain this week and all weekend.
and it's freezing!
Thunderstorms rolled in earlier in the week. No damage in my area.
Himself rigged up rain buckets so he will have to take a measurement to see how much rain we've had this week.
We had a 4 day heatwave earlier in the week. Hot and humid. Perfect weather.
Please, don't eat the daisies.
Day lilies
I found this giant leaf growing inside the greenhouse. PlantNet has identified it as a field pumpkin
A new bunny was out early one morning.
Today, would have been my parents' 78th. wedding anniversary. I used to tease Dad that on the Fourth of July, the United States gained its independence while on the same date, he lost his. πΊ
How does your garden grow?
Your garden is looking fabulous! Our day lilies are just like yours and are flowering at the moment too π. Loving the black cat and lantern in the flower pot - gorgeous! Happy fourth of July weekend π. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteNice to think we have the same flowers in the garden.
DeleteThis weekend has been a wash out so far, hasn't it? We did need the rain, but...that's all I will say about that. Your garden is looking great CJ. IT probably loves this rain. Have a wonderful July 4. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWe didn't need all the rain we got. Monday is supposed to be the pick of the week.

DeleteSorry to read about your weather. It actually sounds PERFECT to me. I LOVE the cold. I will gladly give you my excruciating heat and nasty humidity.
ReplyDeleteI like Ink's garden and your day lilies. None of mine bloomed this year and I have no idea why not. They are everywhere in my yard, but none came up.
That's an adorable bunny. I saw mine yesterday hopping through the tall grass out back. Your garden is growing so much better than mine, dear.
Looks like your heat and humidity will arrive on Tues, but so will more rain.
DeleteWe had A LOT of rain and some thunderstorms here yesterday all day. And it was cold and freezing too. WTH? Even too cold for me LOL!

ReplyDeleteWe've been having several days of a heatwave. Nothing like what you have, but hot for New England. I don't mind because Winter lasts 10 mos. and you don't have to shovel hot and humid πΊ
DeleteYour garden looks glorious.
ReplyDeleteLove the rain buckets.
That rabbit is so sweet.
A fun memory.
Happy 4th.
The bunny posed for me! Okay, she went into her frozen scared stance when she heard me in the sun room, but it looked like she posed for me. πΊ
