At the beginning of the month, I saw ads for Plum Deluxe's Regeneration Tea marketed to fans of Doctor Who. The ad made me smile, and I moved on with my day.
A week or so later, a package arrived. Inside a packet of Regeneration tea and a sample of Stargazers Caramel Chai. But I didn't remember ordering samples of tea. Who sent this? The return address was the Plum Deluxe Tea.
What a puzzle. Who sent this to me? Any number of people know I'm a Doctor Who fan. Where was the tea from? Portland, Oregon. And then light dawned on marble head. Of course, it had to be sent from my dear friend, colleague, and adopted Cousin.
The tea is a delicious blend of black tea, honeybush tea, strawberries, cocoa peel, blackberry leaf, raspberry leaf, and strawberry and vanilla essence. It's like drinking a Jammie Dodger, the 11th Doctor's favorite cookies. The tea makes the perfect cup of tea to have with your favorite Doctor (10) or by yourself.
Cos', you are the best and a pearl of great price.

DeleteWhat a lovely gift! So thoughtful.Isn't it nice to receive a surprise gift like that.
ReplyDeleteThe tea sounds really nice actually. Is honeybush the same as redbush? (Rooibos)?Whatever, it sounds delicious.
We never got Dr Who here, and for the last 30 years we haven't had a tv, so I can't say I'm a fan as I have seen any of them.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
according to what I found online, honeybush tea is related to rooibos

DeleteHow sweet of your cousin to think of you with this great sounding tea. The 10th Doctor is my favorite, too. In fact, he is the only one I really like. In addition to your fabulous tea, it was good to see your TARDIS in action, too. Thanks for sharing your regeneration tea and Dr. Who with us for T this Tuesday, dear C.J.

DeleteI still haven´t oredered "Dr. Who" as I don´t know which one to decide for - I have never seen it and you can get the original or the new series.
ReplyDeleteAnd then ... "Who" sent this to you, funny!
That's a tough choice to make. Classic Who to get the origin story or to see New Who.
Delete😺 I didn't think of that! Who sent me the tea?
DeleteWhat a thoughtful think to do! Who doesn't LOVE a surprise package. Sounds like a yummy blend. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Tea Day,
