1. Had a good time at the family Gathering. The skies grew ominous and we left arriving home before wild thunderstorms
2. Had a nice time at the Great-Nephew's Christening. The decorations on the cupcakes were hysterical. A headshot of the Baby Boy with a Bishop's Miter.
3. Saw a new itty-bitty, baby bunny in the yard. It sat up just like a chocolate bunny so I named it Candy. Just as I was to take a picture it ran away
4. A trip to the post office and I had a nice chat with S. Every time I’ve been there, I missed her shift. Fun to be a townie
5. Opened the garage door for the Culligan Man’s salt delivery to find he was backing the truck into the driveway. He kindly brought the salt bags into the utility room and filled the salt tank for the water softener.
How was your week?
Sounds like a good week. I saw bunnies near the Rhine yesterday, but they were too quick to get a pic. Enjoy your day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThey must be related to the bunnies in my yard
DeleteWe have a bunny too! He's too quick for me to get a pic.....it's dangerous for littles down here....but we do see him running from one culvert pipe to another....lol. :D
ReplyDeleteCool! It's dangerous for littles up here with the coyotes out at night. I hope your bunny is faster than the 'gators.
DeleteMy daughter has bunnies in her yard. We don't see them at all here, of course, but I remember having large yards where they'd show up.
ReplyDeleteThis is the tiniest bunny I’ve seen
Deleteover at "cuzin daiz" house there are tiny wee...
ReplyDeletethe tiny wee are half sized learning to eat my geraniums hares at my house
and the full grown can't catch me hares are eating my grass down to the soil ~~~~

On the bright side, you won't have to mow the lawn
DeleteSounds like a good week. Other than more rain and not enough sun, it was a good week here too. Hope you have a great weekend too.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, this rainy weather pattern will break
DeleteI had five baby bunnies until I mowed my "meadow." Now I'm not sure where they are, since there are dogs on all sides of me.
ReplyDeleteNot being Catholic, I had to look up what Bishop's Miter was. I bet that was fun to see.
Thanks for letting me know about my weed. I should have known.
Weeds are just flowers that aren't popular
DeleteNice week you had - and nice of that delivery guy.
ReplyDeleteThat was serendipity that he was backing the truck into the driveway. usually I miss him and he leaves the bags of salt in the garage. I can carry the salt, but am just a little too short to reach the salt tank to pour the salt in. So I was very grateful that he did that for me.
DeleteSounds a good week, they do pass by so quickly don't they!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
So happy you had a great time with family and at the Christening! That was really nice of the salt guy! Big Hugs!
