Five good things that happened this week.
1. Texted with the Eldest...
2. Her supervisor got her a room at the hospital so she doesn't have the expense of a commute ($130 taxi fare!). Breakfast and lunch at the hospital. A laundromat within walking distance.
3. Play day with Teague is turning into a weekly event.
4. Teague finalized plans for another runaway weekend at the end of the month to Camp Newport.
5. Errands and out to dinner.

The eldest's supervisor is a blessing. Sounds like you and Teague will be eating out a lot!!

Work this week was plain crazy.
Other.. too cold for June, but I planted poppy seeds and the strawberries soon will be ready to eat!
No, the Eldest is a traveling lab tech. Her company sends her to different hospitals around the country to fill in (for someone on maternity/family leave) or when they need extra help. Cheaper for the hospital to hire a temp. employee than a full-time person. Enjoy your taco! Temperature is hot, hot, hot today, but a drastic cool down for the weekend.

1. Hubs and got up this morning and hit a garage sale and i scored a couple Cat pins. Sadly the black cat pin i really wanted turned out to not be so nice in person...
2. Stopped by a new donut place to help them out on their Grand Opening and the donuts were fabulous. A little expensive though everything is these days... AND he threw in some free donut holes!!
3. Rain predicted for the four day weekend... fingers crossed.. always need more rain here... but the weeds are starting to win...
4. We put in 4 post holes yesterday..... uuughhh... four done 50 left to do... 2 went in easy , 2 went in hard..
5. Hubby brought me flowers...

DeleteI think that's great you get these runaway weekends. I use to love when my sis and i would get away for the weekend. That hadn't happened in a lot of years though. Brings back good memories.
