The Friday Five Good Things

 

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Calli and Quill didn't put up the usual fuss about going into the cat carriers for the vet visit. They weren't happy, but it didn't take long to wrangle them into the carriers.

2. The new television was delivered. The picture is WOW!

3. An afternoon spent with The Brother and His Wife, The Nephew and his family so the little ones could see Santa come by the house on the firetruck. Santa was late and it was very cold and dark so after an hour we all went inside for dinner. While we were eating, the firetruck roared by the house. The kids waved to Santa from the window.

4. Haircut day and I checked us in just in time. When we got there there were 6 people on the waiting list behind us.

5. Play day with Teague and a nice lunch at Owen O'Leary's

    My week was sick..... just me... just little ole' me... everyone else is fine and healthy.. uughhh... But i'm much better now at the tail end of the week.... littles are coming over to bake cookies and put the last decorations on the tree... fun fun... OOooo what brand TV is it that you like so much... ? Too bad about Santa..... but when your ride is a firetruck....??!! Warm here but at least its not hot... We could use some rain... Holiday Hugs! deb

    It's good that Santa's visit didn't go unnoticed.Haircut - that's on my to-do list for the New Year.

    It's too bad the kids didn't see Santa from outside, but at least they saw him. Sounds like you had a fun week , and hurrah for the new TV. I had a couple of lunch dates with friends, a walk, and my husband's office party. I'm checking to see how much snow we might get. Stay warm this weekend. It's gonna be BRRRRRR.

    Apart from Santa being late (hey, this man has a lot to do!) it sounds like a great week! Here la-la, but we finally made it to the Christmas Market and I got books.
