1. Nostalgic fun we watched some Christmas movies with the Girlies. We watched The Muppets Christmas Carol and Die Hard.
2. I bought the pieces parts I needed to make this year's wreath
3. I had lunch with my calligraphy teacher and a classmate. I hadn't seen them in forever so it was fun to catch up.
4. The new oven was delivered
5. Had a crafternoon session with the Young One.
How was your week?
It seems i can leave a comment... yeah!! I sent you an email yesterday when the comment wouldn't work... The last few days have turned cooler and next week we see our first freeze!!! November was exceptionally warm ... even for here...So nice to hear you getting to spend time with your girls.. My littles have been helping me decorate. Forgot how much more fun Christmas is with Littles. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWe got our first snow of the season, a couple of inches. 😿Always fun to have little, helping hands to help decorate.
DeleteSorry CJ- DIE HARD is not and never was a Christmas Movie-- it's a movie that takes place at Christmas. End of story- no debate ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not debating. It's in our list of favorite movies to watch at Christmas. 😺
DeleteThat was a lovely way to spend a winter week.
ReplyDeleteWe've had a fun visit.
DeleteNew oven? Do tell.....
ReplyDeleteWill do
DeleteI´ll never get why Die Hard is a Christmas movie?
ReplyDeleteEventless week here other than poor Max, my friends´s 19 year old cat, left this afternoon. He had a very loved, good life. And they may bury him in the garden. Not my cat, but I feel sad... Other grey, grey, grey weather.
Die Hard is considered a Christmas movie because it takes place during an office Christmas party. There's decorations and Christmas music. John's (Bruce Willis) wife has a Christmas-y name: Holly. Her boss gave her a Rolex watch as a Christmas gift. John kills one of the bad guys and sends him to the bad guy boss wearing a Santa hat with a sign that says Now I have a machine gun. DeleteSorry to hear Max crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
It sounds like you had a fun week indeed.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great visit with the Young One and to have the 4 of us together for Thanksgiving
DeleteA new oven sounds exciting, but maybe just another reason to cook-ha-ha-ha. It sounds like a good week.I spent mine doing Christmas chores (decorating, doing some shopping and a bit of wrapping), and the dreaded shoveling with yesterday's snow. Did you get any?
ReplyDeleteYeah, a couple 2 or 3 inches of snow.
DeleteSounds like a great week and how wonderful to spend time with your Young One making fabulous memories together 😊. Love both of those movies too - perfect! Take care and happy December! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice time with her visiting. Looking forward to when we might get a chance to see her again.
DeleteSounds like a good week.
ReplyDeleteOne of my sons a 'Die Hard' fan has a 'Die Hard' advent calendar !!!
ReplyDeleteYour week sounds good.
All the best Jan
