I was picking up some office supplies. Glue sticks, double stick tape. And then, what the heck, a little retail therapy never hurt. Washi tape, functional pretty, and then I saw it
One tape to rule them all,
And to the paper bind them!
A black, Maneki-neko in a tea cup! Ink! My Precious!
Do you use washi tape or do you just look at it and pet it?

Your LOTR references are playfully fun and amusing. "One tape" !!!

DeleteFantastic find! Now I need to find this... (Happy T-Day, and I have a post that will pop out that will show the card you sent me. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's sweet of you.
DeleteSooo cute I bought a set of fall tapes and then just never used them much. so many to pretty ones to choose from though Happy T
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem too many pretty and cute ones to choose.
DeleteI had to laugh CJ ... too often i look at it and pet it but i do find uses for it in my artwork too...
ReplyDeleteI hope I can bring myself to part with the kitty in the teacup.
DeleteRetail therapy can be a very good thing. That is adorable tape. I stopped at Staples yesterday to get envelopes because the box I ordered from Amazon has been stuck in Windsor, CT since early last week. Anyhow, I browsed and looked at the tape too, but nothing as cute as the neko tape you found. Have a great T day. Hope you have more sun today than yesterday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteRetail therapy is a bit dangerous, too.
DeleteWonderful! I have lots of washing tapes but mostly can't bring myself to use it! Valerie
ReplyDeleteMaybe if the rolls were 10 times bigger it wouldn't hurt to part with a little strip. 😺
DeleteYou are right, retail therapy is the best. I so miss going into a store to actually feel the fabric on something I want to buy. The tape is awesome and perfect for T day.
ReplyDeleteI really don't mind point and click retail therapy. Then there's the excitement of waiting for UPS, Amazon, or USPS to arrive.
DeleteI know what washi tape is ;) I've been gifted some and have used it on ATCs. It's the perfect thing sometimes, and I love your perfect roll. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteSo many patterns makes it versatile and deadly to the pocketbook
DeleteJust don't mix retail therapy with wine! Just sayin'..... ;)
ReplyDelete😺
Delete...talk about living in a cave, I had never heard of washi tape.
ReplyDeleteIt's the crafting version of Duct tape though not as strong, waterproof, but a lot prettier 😺
DeleteOh what fun washi tapes- and that special kitty in a cup one- perfect find for you! I actually was out also to get more glue, envelopes and card stock- and yes picked up a pack of Valentine washi tapes-on sale for 30% off so I only paid a few dollars. And I WILL use them:):) Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteOooh, good sale.
DeleteINK !!!!!! iz that ewe buddy :) ♥♥
ReplyDeleteInk whitefish waves to the Tabbies and the FSG, too
DeleteI definitely own more then I use ~ the kitties are super cute!
ReplyDeleteGood. I'm not alone. 😺
DeleteI haven't ever bought that kind of tape but I sure admire it - love the cats.
ReplyDeleteIt all starts with one, little roll
DeleteAwww,precious Ink. So Sweet.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Isn’t he just?
DeleteYour washi tape is purr-fect ...ha, ha 😀. Loving the little kitty cat! I have washi tape for crafting but I find myself looking at it more that using it as sometimes I just can't seem to figure out how to include it on my pages ...lol 😉. Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone 😺
DeleteI was by earlier, then got called away before I could leave a comment. I also had a ton of paperwork I was trying to get out today, which sucked up my time. I'm sorry I'm late visiting.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your neko washi tape, CJ. It has YOU written all over it. I have some washi tape, but I forget to use it. It's not handy, so I need to make it more handy. I'm sure yours will go to good use. This "cat in a cup" is perfect for T this Tuesday, dear.
I'm happy whenever you can stop by
DeleteHow cool is that, the .. well, Jo put it already :-)
ReplyDeleteOh. you are right, I have some, too. So far I only used it for my ugly PC-table to cover some scratches...
And now the scratches are pretty
DeleteI Love that kitty (although I didn't know it had a name.)
ReplyDeleteYes, I have lots of washi tape. I use it to seal envelopes or decorate postcards I send. I also use them in scrapbooking, although I haven't done much scrapbooking in 2020.
Happy T-Day,
Lisca
Maneki-neko is from Japan and means Lucky Cat
DeleteOh my! What fun washi tapes. But I agree, that kitty in the tea cup is the best.
DeleteHappy Tea DAy,
Kate
Cats in teacups washi tape?!! I can hardly believe it, CJ!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen
And when I saw the roll, it jumped into my cart 😺
DeleteSince I started junk journaling, I have been using it. But it is just like my printed papers, I collect, I am afraid.
ReplyDeleteLOL Happy T Day.
