Doodling for Stress Reduction

On Mondays via Zoom, I participate in a class where we spend a half an hour doodling our stress away.

The suggestion for the class was to draw a border.  Inside the border to draw arches. In the arches to draw some lines, and then to doodle inside the arch. I used circles or bubbles and then colored in the larger circles.

OOO I like this one. That blue really pops. Don't ask me why, but the first thing I thought of was a winter coat I owned years ago that I bought down on Millbrook St. (in Worcester) when there was a coat store there. I bet its no longer there. Stay cool today.

stained glass window in church….can picture all of us in grade school ( I swear we were in church every day,;…catholic) counting the circles instead of paying attention to mass. ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿพ‼️๐Ÿ’š

thecontmeplativecat here Your doodling is super! Doodling is an art that isn't appreciated. When I was teaching, the first day my students created their own doodle. It always turned out well.

I do like the blue colour you've used.

YES! Most of my memories for grades 1 - 8 are of church. If we weren't at church, we were constantly standing up to pray the Hail Mary for the poor person that was in the ambulance that whizzed by to the hospital. The school was on the main road and 1 mile from the hospital. Lots of ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars zipping by all day long.

It's just so meditative. I love the class as it's a great way to start our week.

same here, and where I went to school, girls did
NOT enter church without a “ hat “ or some type of
headwear on their head. cod as my witness, the few times I forgot a chapel veil, I had to have a KLEENEX
bobby pinned to my hair….trooth ‼️๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿพ

Very pretty - could imagine this as tiles in the bathroom.
