How Does Your Garden Grow?

Chocolate likes the grass close to the sunroom.

Three hawks were cruising the area looking for lunch. I was only able to get one in frame.

Interesting weed growing by the slider.

The sunflower is almost ready to bloom.

Area in bloom behind the Zensical garden. I hope to add more native plants for this to become a meadow. The bunnies like to hang out here.

Not sure what the yellow flowers are, but they were busy with small bee like insects and the yellow swallowtail butterfly. This is why I want to keep this area like a meadow as it is a bustling area.

Heath asters in bloom.

Morning glories continue to climb in Ink's garden. Still no blooms. No rain totals to report this week.

How does your garden grow?

  1. Your garden is looking gorgeous, and I love that you have a natural meadow area, that's great for insects and small animals, they will be thankful for it. Chocolate is looking good, I hope the hawk wasn't looking at him! Have a great Sunday, hugs, Valerie

    1. Meadow area is mostly weeds, but the bunnies like to hang out there or run when they get scared. I was a little worried for them when I saw the hawks, but the hawks moved on this time.

  2. Your garden is looking nice, like a late summer garden should. I am making plans for next years garden already also. Now I better write it all down or I will forget next spring. :) Hugs-Erika

  3. Your "meadow" part of the garden, makes me smile! If we let nature do it's thing, she really does provide us with some beautiful plants, that animals and insects love!
