Halloween, Samhain, All Souls, Day of the Dead are all festivals that honor those that have passed on.
Do Not Stand Over My Grave and Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand over my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain
When you waken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quit birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there. I did not die

DeleteCool look back page. You made a great page and it really works for the day. I looked up Samhain the other day when I looked up All Souls Day and it was fascinating. It was interesting how the Gaelic people celebrated right in the middle of each season. Have a great day. Hugs-Erika
