How Does Your Garden Grow?

The Eldest captured a couple of ravens hanging out in the tree.

A welcome 46 oF (7.78 oC) caused an avalanche.

The threat of a storm must have had the squirrel in a panic. Too bad he shut himself out.

Snow finally melted off the West array. Too bad the sky was cloudy. No electricity making for you.

I toss seed on the ground for the ground feeders. Looks like they've been busy.

Surprised to find not all the snow has melted from the South array.

The beginning of the ice storm. Luge run, anyone? Oh, and a funny story about the Christmas bells lining the walk. They are on a motion sensor and light up and play a selection of Christmas carols. We had a FedEx delivery  and the driver told me they nearly made him jump out of his skin. 😸 Poor fella.

Not venturing out, that's for sure.

  1. It looks cold in your garden, good that you are looking after the birds and other visitors. Not much going on here, I've got a nasty cold and cough and am heading back to bed. Hugs, Valerie

  3. I'm finally getting a sense of your yard. It looks really cold and icy there. I'm just glad your guttering didn't fall with the avalanche. Not a drop of moisture here.

Like Valerie, I'm not feeling well, either. I'll be staying home snuggled with the boys for Christmas this year. Merry, merry Christmas.

    1. the property is slightly over 1 acre. And I'm glad the gutter didn't come down too. So sorry you're feeling poorly. Staying home and snuggling with the boys isn't a bad way to spend Christmas Eve. Feel better.

    1. Yes, it's a planter shaped like a cowboy boot. The girlies gave it to me several years ago for my birthday

    1. It is Brrrr and cold enough to snow tonight. I'll take your upper 50s. I'd take your low 50s. And I shouldn't have laughed but it was funny thinking about the poor delivery guy jumping out of his skin when the bells kicked in. Merry Christmas to you

We are about -24 Celsius right now, so that is about -11.2 Fahrenheit for you.

    1. Most of the snow we had, washed away in rain and warm temps. We did get another 4 or so inches on Christmas Day. Temps have dropped below Brrrr so this snow will stay awhile.
