Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:
Harvey (1950) James Stewart, Josephine Hull
If you haven't seen this movie, it's available for rent at Amazon and YouTube.
Yet another film made before I was born. Sounds sort of interesting, though.
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the movies that were made before I was born. This is a classic and was James Stewart's favorite role.
DeleteOooh, I like actor James Stewart. I don't think I've ever seen this one.
ReplyDeletePut it on your list and maybe watch it with Teddy. He'd be delighted with this story, too.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed it! Have a fun day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteWill do!
DeleteI am not familiar with this movie at all but I do like James Stewart as an actor Happy Saturday
ReplyDeleteIt's a sweet story and Stewart brought Elwood and Harvey to life through his performance.
DeleteIt's been a while since this FB meme -like the one for books- came and went. Since I love movies, I continue to be excited that it lives on in the blogging community :)
ReplyDeleteWe have Harvey on DVD :) We have a little stuffed rabbit sitting next to it on the shelf lol I saw it on TV as a child and loved it. We re-watch this with some frequency, every year or so, and sometimes quote from it in everyday conversation. Priceless :)
In a world where you can be anything, be like Elwood P. Dowd.
DeleteGreat movie! I'm surprised so many people don't know it. A true classic! :D
ReplyDeleteAh, these young people. They think all these old movies don't have any value. The Eldest calls black and white films "dog view". Supposedly dogs can only see in black and white.
DeleteThis is a good one, even though I haven't seen it for several years. Nice pick this week.
ReplyDeleteMight be good to watch if a shower moves through on Sunday. Otherwise enjoy the great weather.
DeleteNot seen this, it's always nice to see what you pick :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It's just like me. A moldy oldie :-D
