The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Another gorgeous day so I worked in the garden

2. I found my quote book I've been looking for forever buried in a pile of papers in the basement. The Gremlins must be back because I've looked through that pile several times before.

3. Dinner out at Point Breeze.

4. A jacket I wanted went on sale. Come to Mama.

5. Himself has a wardrobe full of chemistry t-shirts. He wears them when he teaches and sometimes the t-shirts coordinate with a particular lesson. Thursday was Cation Day 😺 He woke me up at the crack of stupid to show me he was wearing the t-shirt. I made him turn on the light so I could see it.

    Yahoo for finding that quote book in the pile. I have those same gremlins. They are sneaky, trouble making little devils, aren't they? But you had a good week, and today looks nice. Enjoy. Hugs-Erika

      The Gremlins always followed Himself around, but since we've been married, they've attached themselves to me.

      Himself (grudgingly) promised to wear the Cation t-shirt once a semester. When I've commented, I haven't seen him wear it, he'll say I already wore it. So waking me up was to insure I saw he was wearing the t-shirt. :-D And maybe a bit of payback as it's not his favorite.

    It's odd how things we've been looking for make random reappearances. Gremlins is as good an explanation as any. Congrats on the jacket.

    We've been enjoying this weather, too. No rain. What a concept. I need to dig up and pot my dogwood tree *sigh*

      It has to be gremlins. You know you left your item in a certain place. You search and search going back to that place. Nothing. One last circuit, and your items is exactly where you thought it would be. You can hear the gremlins laughing.

    Love the "crack of stupid." That had to be the funniest thing I've read all week.

    Sound like it was a great week and you got a new jacket in the process.

    I have to admit that MY garden work wasn't nearly as pleasant as yours apparently was.

    After sorting through quilt fabric, my wedding ring went missing. Searched, couldn't find it. then there it was, sitting placidly in a drawer.
