Five good things that happened this week.
1. Himself and I went to see Captain Marvel. Everyone was at the opening of Avenger's Endgame so there were very few people in the theater. And just like Divers and Sundry told me, I really loved the cat in the movie. After the movie we went out to dinner.
2. I started the morning glory seeds from the Reggie morning glories from last year.
3. Misplaced my journal, but after a hunt found it with some help. Still looking for an Altoid tin of sewing needles.
4. Had fun experimenting with making paste paper with laundry starch
5. Found another 42 in my blog Labels widget. Went out to dinner with a friend and attended a meeting.
How was your week?
Sounds good. My week was busy but good. Valerie
ReplyDeleteBusy but good is a great combination.
DeleteI always lose things when I clean and put them away. You had a good week, and isn't Goose the cat cool in that movie? Now if only the sun would return your week would probably be even better. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteMore sun and temps about 30 degrees warmer would be perfect!
DeleteSounds like a busy but pretty productive week to me. Interesting about the 42 ... funny how that happens sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
It's fun to keep an eye out for the answer to the great question, the universe, and everything :-D
DeleteI whole-heartedly agree with you! :-D
DeleteAn uncrowded movie theater is always a good thing. I'm glad you found your misplaced journal and had time for craft experiments. Sounds like you had a good week. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun week.
DeleteLove your journal and page. Makes me happy just to look at it.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Did you try making the one page journal, yet?
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the movie and found your journal ...lol 😉. Your pages are beautiful! So nice to catch up with friends and start your gardening too 😁. Wishing you a happy Friday and Weekend! J 😊 x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I found the journal too, as it's the sample for a workshop I'll be teaching :-D
DeleteA good week all around! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, indeedy
DeleteGlad you liked the cat :) We're seeing Endgame today. I've managed somehow to avoid spoilers so far, so I'll enjoy reading reviews once I'm back home. Another 42?! You're hitting the jackpot! :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll go see Endgame on Wednesday. Old people day at the theater. And once you see the number, you can't unsee it :-D
DeleteWhat a great week you had. It's a bit late for planting seeds, at least it is in KS. The tiny plants would be in the ground by now here.
ReplyDeleteI use Sta-Flo liquid to make my paste papers. I hope to see what you made, too.
I'm confused. What is a blog Labels widget? I know what labels are on my blog, but I don't get where you found the 42, especially since I'm always on the lookout for that elusive number.
We can still get a hard frost until the middle of May. My elderly neighbor wouldn't plant her tomatoes until Memorial Day weekend.
DeleteScroll way down on the right side of my blog until you see the Labels widget. The widget lists all the labels I use and in parenthesis the number of posts that have that label. Look at the one for essential oils. I've never noticed that number before.
GOT IT! Duh. My blond is definitely showing.
DeleteI'm always misplacing things - but I have a lot of empty Altoid tins you can have, but no needles in them, lol. Paste paper ....is that for paper mache or something...I'm waiting to get the disney app when it comes out because I understand it will have all the Marvel movies ...which I've never seen one but my husband likes them.
ReplyDeletePaste paper is not papier mache. Paste paper is traditionally made with AP flour, water, cooked. Acrylic pigments are added to the paste. It's finger painting for grown ups. Paste paper can be used for book covers, collage, or as a background for other art.
DeleteI'm pleased that you found your misplaced journal …
ReplyDeleteWe had a good week and a good weekend too.
All the best Jan
With a good week and weekend behind us, we can sail into the next week with a positive outlook
