Five good things that happened this week.
1. The sun room is officially open with the help of the space heater.
2. Über productive day. Worked on a commission, planned two lessons for class,
3. Lovely Mother's Day gifts from the girlies. My own, special blend of tea and a silk scarf
4. New sheets and a duvet cover that zips open! No more wrestling with the comforter to get it into the duvet.
5. Happy Birthday to Himself. He's now the same age as I am.
How was your week?
Happy Birthday from me, too. Zip up covers are a blessing, my fingers have problems with other methods. Enjoy your gifts! Have a lovely day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe whole duvet cover unzips so you can lay the comforter flat inside. Then zip it up. So easy
DeleteI can relate to many of these. A new scarf, a hubby who finally catches up to you...you did have a great week CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteNow I can tease Himself about looking older than me
Delete:-D
It sounds like you had a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very good week.
DeleteSounds like a pretty good week to me. Happy Birthday to your hubby, too! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThank you, my Lady
DeleteHappy Birthday to Himself! Good week all around! :D
ReplyDeleteEspecially with cake!
DeleteSounds like a very productive week! Then garden flag is perfect, sending your hubby Happy birthday wishes 😊. Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend! Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo!
DeleteHappy Birthday -and many more- to Himself! An open sunroom sounds delightful, and if a heater is required so be it ;) I use a duvet without a cover as a comforter. I just saw no reason to add that extra step.
ReplyDeleteA special blend of tea? Sweet!
A Duvet cover alone makes sense down South, but here in New England, we're still having temps drop into the 30s! Without a comforter, you'd freeze your chemise off! :-D
DeleteIt's the cover we don't use, just the duvet alone. But our duvet is a twin size, just fitting on the top of the bed, and is easy enough to wash.
DeleteHappy birthday to your husband. You had a great week. Much better than mine, I fear. Lots of great gifts, and a birthday celebration, too.
ReplyDeleteI would have been by sooner, but I have been busy working on my lawn mower, at least until it got dark. Then I ate a bite and promptly fell asleep. The joys of home ownership. Like I said, between fighting floods and fighting a lawn mower that hates me, your week was over the top joyous.
Hopefully, this will be a better week.
Deletesun room open - that sounds great and what a week you had - all good.
ReplyDeleteThe best part is being out in the sun room.
DeleteHappy Birthday to himself!
ReplyDeleteHappy your sun room is open!
Your own tea and a silk scarf, beautiful!
Big Hugs!
Yes, very happy for the sun room especially today when the sun was actually out.
DeleteYour week sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBelated birthday wishes to himself, and I do like the garden flag.
All the best Jan
