Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. No Way Out (1950), Richard 😻 Widmark, Sidney Poitier

Richard Widmark salutes legendary Actor Sidney Poitier at the 20th AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute To Sidney Poitier (1992).

If you haven't seen this movie, it's available for rent on YouTube. You might be able to find it for free there, too.

  5. I don't think Richard Widmark gets the recognition he deserves. He was an astounding actor.

  9. I thought of another film with the same title that was about a spy embedded in the CIA or maybe State Dept. Sure had me fooled, because I've not heard of this one.

Finally opened the darling card you sent. LOVED your rat drawing. It is quite adorable. But you didn't have to send those stamps. I'm truly grateful, though because I can enjoy the art around the page, too. Thank you beyond belief, dear. I am more than grateful.

    1. I knew you would like the stamps and the edging around the stamp sheet would be upcycled into your art instead of going to the recycle bin. Enjoy!
