The Friday Five Good Things


 Five good things that happened this week.

1.  The greenhouse is taking shape

2. I enjoyed walking around my yard and the glorious weather.

3. I saw a large, bright yellow and black butterfly! A Tiger swallowtail?

4. Warm Summer like weather. I went to the hairdresser's and got my hair cut very, very short. No more grey! 

5. After thunderstorms, a beautiful morning in the sun room having my second cup of tea and listening to the birds singing.

    Good week all around! (I've had a pair of butterflies winging their way around the bushes outside my studio window. I like to think they're my parents coming by for a visit.) ;)

    Sounds like a nice week CJ. Yes, it is a tiger swallowtail you saw. I've seen a few also, and it is really nice to see butterflies, isn't it? Show us photos once the greenhouse is finished. I am curious. Too bad we're going to have all the rain this weekend, if of course those weather folks are right.Have a great Friday.

    We're not seeing many butterflies yet, and without the rue that used to attract them I'm not sure we'll get swallowtails at all.

    I find a short haircut refreshing :)

    It's a tad early to see butterflies here, but I saw a bunny rabbit hopping through my tall grass when I watered this morning.

    I got my hair cut a couple of weeks ago. I told her to cut it all off to the scalp. She nearly did that. Mine is probably shorter than yours (grin). Sounds like you had a fantastic week.

      Since the Young One and I had been playing hairdresser, I told the real hairdresser to buzz me down so everything would grow in evenly. We probably have the same haircut 😺

    We had hail - awful, but then came rain and thunder, I love that!
    Some mail arrived safely, another is on the way And I received some, too.
    Phone call with family, oh, the little things we have with Covid...

      Enough little things add up to big things. We are getting rain, rain, and more rain on this holiday weekend, Memorial Day. Which is the official opening to Summer.

    beautiful week you had and if i cut my hair way way short it would still be gray or ..rather kind of a whitish grey platinum color..i can't figure it out but it's not the usual grey you see.
