How does your garden grow?
Your garden is looking good. Great that the cardinals are doing well. My balcony still looks awful! Valerie
ReplyDeleteAs soon as your feeling better and up to it, you're balcony will look lovely
DeleteLovely flowers! And how delightful to have nesting cardinals :)
ReplyDeleteIt was exciting to see Mama feed the babies. The first time I noticed her doing that was on Friday. I can't see the babies as the nest is very deep and well hidden in the honeysuckle vine.
DeleteThings are greening up nicely as my grandmother used to say. It all looks lovely. I adore your fairy lights along the walk....you just need more on the other side...IMHO.....lol. One can never have enough fairy lights! :D
ReplyDeleteI told Himself he needed a string of lights on the other side of the walk! Then it would look like a landing strip for the fairies. Fairies is also our euphemism for packages delivered as sometimes the packages just magically show up. Look! You got a fairy! 😺
DeleteI saw the male cardinal in both shots but don't see the mother cardinal at all. Yes, I enlarged the photo, too. Your garden is looking much better than mine, and that Cardinal whirligig is darling, as are the fairy lights.
ReplyDeleteIt's really hard to get a clear shot of Mama through the window. She blends in so well with the leaves and if she's in the nest she hunkers way down so all you might catch a glimpse of is her orange beak.
DeleteI forgot to wish you a very happy Mother's Day, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteI really love the solar fairy lights - very cool!! Happy Mother's Day to you, CJ!
ReplyDeleteThe fairy lights are fun and pretty. They also have been coming on later!
DeleteYour daffs are looking great in that fantastic cluster. And isn't it wonderful to see spring greening up. All is looking good. You must be excited as the days get longer...although those fairy lights won't come on until later-that is probably OK. Hope you had a great Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteThey don't come on until late, but are still glowing before dawn! How do I know? Himself is a very early riser
DeleteLike your door sign. We have our cows out all year long. I´m still impressed no one took them!
ReplyDeleteAnd ohhhhh, your fairy lights!!!!
I´ll wait till frost came and went before starting anything, but saw yesterday (it was HOT!) my strawberries survived and bloom!
Hooray for strawberries!
DeleteGreat pictures!! Love the cardinals and the fairy lights! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHimself will put up another strand of fairy lights on the other side of the walk. He bought more stakes
Delete"The passing of the daffodils" ...beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteThey have all faded making way for a new season
