A busy work week so not many pictures.
Inside, Lily bloomed.
Outside, a perfect rain drop on the dianthus and petunia
Timex (chipmunk) and the Little Red Squirrel were in Ink's garden and ate the sunflowers I planted.
Ate all of them right down to the roots!
Off with their heads!!!!!!
Calli could just eat up the baby bunny
Flowers on the potato plants
Himself was going to plant the Clematis by the post lantern in front. I reminded him we had a clematis several years ago, but it didn't survive the Winter. He did some reading, determined the plant needed more sunlight and decided to plant it in a container. The container can be moved into the greenhouse at the end of the season. That's the plan
Queen of Hearts petunias and verbena doing well
How does your garden grow?
Well your garden does do well ... all except the Sunflowers! I think i told you the same thing happened to mine years ago when i tried sunflowers... I think a little ground squirrel got mine.. I think i read Elizabeth's SunFlower seeds got dug up and ate.. How in the world do you grow SunFlowers? Put them in Ft. Knox? lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteMaybe you have to plant an entire field so they can't possibly eat all of them
DeleteThose Queen of Hearts petunias are stunning!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute with the little hearts
DeleteYour garden is looking good. Pty about your visitors who eat your plants! Have a great week, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThey have some nerve
DeleteA big WOW to the Queen of Hearts petunias and verbena :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Isn't she something?
DeleteI have always loved petunias. They are just so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnd they don't mind the heat and last all season
DeleteChipmunks are the worst. I've had to use netting to cover certain veggie garden plants or they disappear. I love your queen and her off with their heads quote. I've been ready to do that for awhile. Hope you had a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteOnce the rain moved out, the weekend weather was perfect (though it could have been 10 or 15 degrees warmer for me)
DeleteYour garden is growing better than mine. Last night, hail hit all my plants and I'm not sure how many are going to survive. Yours look much better. Those petunias are amazing. I feel the same way about the bunny or squirrel that ate all my sunflower seeds. Of with their heads!
ReplyDeleteOh, no! I hope the hail didn't do much damage
DeleteYour backyard looks great and so do the plaints. Off with their heads, lolol..
ReplyDeleteWhy don't the critters ever eat the weeds?
