How Does Your Garden Grow?

The little, red squirrel entertains Calli and Quill

Himself thought the mountain laurels were coming back, but this isn't a mountain laurel. It's a wild raspberry.

This is a mountain laure.

Beautiful sunset

Soon to be a potato patch

Zucchini

Broccoli

Dianthus and verbena in the cowboy boot

Milkweed

Lettuce and what is it?

Peas

Morning glories reseeded themselves

Queen Anne's Lace

The lawn guy came and left this lone dandelion puff on the ground.

Make a wish.

The hydrangea is looking good. Though someone needs to get out there and prune the dead wood

  2. The garden is looking great CJ. We used to have tons of mountain laurel out behind the house in the woods where I grew up in Paxton. It's so pretty when it blooms. I just planted my zucchini FRiday, and yours is looking amazing. Enjoy the day before the rain moves in. hugs-Erika

  4. Your garden appears to be doing better than mine. Mine is being overtaken by squirrels and bunnies. They fell in love with my broccoli and sunflowers. No squash this year. Gave up on it after it failed to mature two years in a row. Good luck with potatoes. Did that one year and got a few, but not worth the effort that went into constantly adding dirt over their tops each week.

  6. The sunset photograph is lovely and I think the little red squirrel would be fun to watch. We have quite a few grey ones that come in the garden.

    All the best Jan

    1. There are 2 little red squirrels. They try to chase all the other critters away from the feeder
