How Does Your Garden Grow?

Rocky hasn't bothered the feeder since chewing it apart last week

A very young cardinal visited the feeder. Can you see him behind the trumpet flowers?

While Rocky hasn't bothered the front feeder, he destroyed the back feeder. Can you see the blue cap on the ground just under the handle of the garden cart? I think he launched from the garden cart to reach the feeder.

Front Feeder Score: Rocky 2, CJ 2
Back Feeder Score: Rocky 1, CJ 0

Wishes at night.

How does your garden grow?

  5. thecontemplativecat here. I don't have a garden, just a patio and a strip of ground along the side of the house. But, I have geraniums and roses (from previous owner) on the side. the patio has potted plants (with sprinklers). Yest. it was 100 deg. dry hot wind, so we will need to water some more on those plants.

  6. I saw a Rocky yesterday when I was planting flowers in my two front wheel barrows. So far I haven't seen any near my feeders. I feel for you.

  8. I have too many Rockys at my house. Grrrr. Mine has figured out how to get past the baffle; he just jumped on it enough so it's fall to ground. I hope you had a fantastic Mother's Day and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine we had.

    1. I'll have to ask Himself to shore up the baffle.
