Five good things that happened this week
1. The Eldest sent a text from work asking me to keep an eye out for FedEx. The Package being delivered is for me and is perishable.
2. We enjoyed a Netflix movie called Nonnas based on a true story
3. Video call with The Young One, chocolate covered strawberries and wine from The Eldest, and dinner take-out courtesy of Himself. A perfect Mother's day.
4. I had a meatball with roasted, green peppers from Tony's. It had been a long time since we had ordered there. I forgot how good their sandwiches are.
5. Another rainy Thursday at Teague's but at least it was warm enough to hang out in the sunroom.
How was your week?
The restaurant sounds so interesting, and lovely for the nonnas to share their recipes and expertise.
ReplyDeleteIkr? I want to go there to eat
DeleteNice week CJ. That restaurant sounds like it would have really good food (the one in the photo). I had a good week, but a busy one. Hopefully you didn't get a lot of rain yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWe did get a lot of rain. Not quite the downpours like the week before, but a lot of rain
DeleteMay/June are busy months for us......but I'm getting though!
ReplyDeleteHalfway through May and June to go
DeleteTony's is the best-- we've eaten there so much lately that we've decided to take a break-- but it's never let us down. Sign up for a free Fed-Ex account and add the package to your account-- they'll let you know when your package is dropped off. I've had a lot of perishable packages saved because of this notification.
ReplyDeleteWith the transition of ownership, Tony's had slipped quite a bit which was disappointing. That's the reason we stopped ordering from there, but they seem to have hit their stride again.
DeleteIts GrandLittle Sleepover week! lol Today i get the Eldest off the schoolbus for a sleepover... Lots of golf for hubby and he has a tournament Saturday...I'm so glad you had a lovely Mother's Day... Daughter and i spent the day out and about shopping and having breakfast out and lunch..no Littles... it was nice... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteSpending time with your daughter without having to look after littles is priceless. Have fun with the sleepover week!
