1. Himself is now the same age I am (for 2 months anyways)
2.There was a bear sighting on the West side of town.
3. I got the smart bird feeder to finally work. Some idiot was using the WEP for the password instead of the Wi-Fi password. When it stops raining and dries out, we can set it up outside.
4. Crappy weather was predicted for Thursday, so I asked Teague if I could switch our play day to Tuesday. No problem.
5. Stormy day, we didn't lose electricity.
How was your week?
* Storm teased us last night... wind.. thunder, lightning... then no rain... but it cooled things off.. I'll take it!
ReplyDelete* Searched around a little and saved on our internet and trash service.. comes out to $500 plus savings a year.. !
* Hubs traveling out of town today to play golf... enjoys it so much.. happy for him...
* Too metal to the scrap yard... hubs and i each ended up with $20 in our pockets....
* Been playing in my 'Bee' Altered Book for the last week.. I've missed it so its been fun...
Play dates have to be flexible...so glad you we able to rearrange! AND we still might get to see the birdfeeder in place!! Yipee! Hugs! deb
That's a hefty savings. Congrats! More art supplies
DeleteCan't wait for pics from the bird feeder! (I'm kinda wanting one.....)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see them, too
Delete. . . but will Rocky work it out?
ReplyDeleteThere will be a squirrel baffle and if he manages an overhead assault, the feeder has a plastic grid over the seed. Big enough for a bird beak, but too small for squirrel snout and paws. I hope.
DeleteHow lovely to read your list of the five good things. I am glad you didn't lose the electricity. Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we didn't lose electricity either
DeleteSounds like a pretty eventful week! That age-matching moment with Himself made me smile—funny how those little things feel kind of special. A bear sighting on the west side? That’s wild! Hope it just wandered off peacefully.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got the smart bird feeder sorted out—Wi-Fi mishaps always make me laugh after the fact. Can’t wait to hear how it works once it’s outside. Nice call on switching the play day too—dodging bad weather is always a win. And hey, surviving a storm without losing electricity? That’s the kind of victory we don’t celebrate enough.
Hopefully, we'll be able to mount the feeder today (05/24)
DeleteMy week has also been cold and wet. Like yours. When I started my lake job Wednesday it reached a high of 48 degrees. Luckily I can do the job by sitting in my car and turning on the heat now and again. :) Did you get a lot of rain? And hurrah that you can get the feeder going. This weekend looks like a slow clear up and warm up. Better than the cold and wet I guess.
ReplyDeleteWe got about 2 inches of rain. At least it wasn't snow
DeleteYippee on getting the smart bird feeder to finally work.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Now if we can make sure Rocky stays away from it
DeleteIt's been raining non-stop here for three days. I can relate. I just hope you and Rocky call a truce.
