  1. Amazing how many styles he played in Ride of the Valkyries

  2. So clever! I can't play anything without music, apart from a few bars.

  3. OH that was fun. I'm glad you shared it. Funny how I think the story behind the music would be very different for each type. And oh, it makes me miss having a piano. :) Stay dry. And sun tomorrow-I hope they are right about that.

    1. It makes you miss having a piano until you realize no one wants the piano and how are you going to get rid of it? Sun and warmer temps all this week. Then a couple of days where it doesn't rain!

  5. This made me real sad.
We had (my Brother still has) a real Steinweg-piano.
Dad´d forced me to learn and I was good, but way too fast. He bought a metronome and I quit.
Ingo years and years later bought such a keyboard but i failed big.
I understand you should, maybe, respect the creator´s tempo, but then... Mom always loved to hear to me play in mine and I might´ve sticked to it.
    Sad.
But my neighbors sure are glad!!! ;-)

    1. When other people were buying their first car, I bought a piano. Not a Steinway. I took lessons for 3 or so years. I wasn't good, but I enjoyed playing. I had a metronome a gift from my dad's surrogate parents. After the girlies came along, I didn't have much time to play the piano. I had hoped they would. They plinked a bit but weren't interested. A couple of years ago, the piano was given away. The parents hoped their little boy would play it. I hope the piano is loved and not collecting dust as it did here.
