The Friday Five Good Things


 Five good things that happened this week.

1. The Nephew-in-Law installed new shower light/fan.

2. I made brunch with a sausage and apple strata. The Eldest and I had mimosas, too

3. I finished the January junk journal!

4. The Eldest was cuddling Calli and asked her, "Who is my fluffy, little princess?" Calli meowed back Me

5. Teague picked me up after my doctor's appointment, and we went out to breakfast.

    Nice week. That sausage and apple strata sounds delicious. Could you post the recipe sometime? My week's been good but my mother-in-law took a turn for the worse. And so did the weather. We were at a dusting and now they say 1-3 or in some spots maybe even 4-5. Yikes!

    I've spent the week figuring out the design on my skateboard donation and beginning the woodburning on it... Looking at the pictures of the donations the previous year I'm beginning to wonder if i fit into the crowd... Its a skater crowd... and most things are cartoony and bright and colorful... and i'm woodburning a light bulb and flies... So i have imposter syndrome i think...lol .. But.. I'm gonna do it... Its a silent auction where you write your bid down on a piece of paper...
    Awww... cute Calli! I love it when cats talk back... I could have a whole conversation with Jinx...lol
    Mimosas are GOOD!!! Last i had one was about 15 years ago after i got off the hot air balloon! :) Have a great weekend!! Hugs! deb
