I am behind in the ATC exchange I play with my friend, Lambie. I haven't felt very creative lately. Of course, that parlays into an excuse. Then more time is spent in the composting than in the actual composing. In a discussion with an author friend, she said there is no substitute for sitting your butt down and working. She's absolutely right. You can't create if you don't do, and you can't do if you don't create.
So, made a couple of attempts on May's ATC theme, favorite quote: Never miss an opportunity to keep your mouth shut.
In cleaning, I found my Pilot Parellel pen. It's a fountain pen, but you can fill it with nearly any fluid, unlike a regular fountain pen. Usually, I don't use a fountain pen for my work, but decided it might be fun to play with. It was until I went to erase my guidelines and the ink smeared! Just too humid for the ink. Made a second attempt, but decided the writing size was too big for the 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" ATC card. Dug out a small size dip pen and voilĂ !

That's really cute! I like the streamers and the can top. It's very festive. The colors fit well. And love the advice you posted.lol"keep your mouth shut" and "stop being a lazy a$$" .... :D
