The start date for the bathroom remodel has been pushed back a week. The fixtures have been ordered, but will take 3 weeks to come in. This way, the contractor will be able to begin demolition and hopefully, by waiting another week to start, all the fixtures will arrive on time so there's no lag time. 
So, the new countdown is ticking!
