Illuminated Initials

First illuminated initials and vines I did following the notes from the first illumination class I took with Valerie Weilmuentster in 1996. I made bookmarks.

    Yes! Yes! Yes!!!! These are fabulous! Do you do that with a little paint brush and paint? I would be scared to death.

      Yes, with gouache (an opaque watercolor) and a size 0 or 00 round brush. Very easy to do when you take things one step at a time
