Five good things that happened this week.
1. A trip to the Big Orange Box store for items so Himself could build an irrigation system for his veggies.
2. Hot, hot, hot, outside. Hanging out in the sun room
3. Had tea with Val while I washed a quilt in her super duper washer.
4. Dinner and fireworks with The Brother and The Sister-in-Law
5. Fourth of July Happy Anniversary to Ma and Dad. It would have been their 75th wedding anniversary
How was your week?
Glad you had a great week. All I know about my week was that it was too hot, day and night! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSame weather here (-:
DeleteOh my dear sun worshipper, how you do love your hot, hot, hot stuff ... LOL! (just teasing you)
ReplyDeleteHappy would-be 75th wedding anniversary to you mom and dad. My parents would have celebrated their 51st this year (last February). ;)
Have a HOT weekend, CJ, my friend!
Cooler weather predicted for the weekend. I think for your area, too
DeleteBTW, love Ink's photo!
ReplyDeleteSums up the weather week
DeleteLoved the photo of Ink and the idea that you are hanging out in your air conditioned sun room. My office above the garage has 8 windows all the way round, so I know a sauna would be the thing if I didn't have an auxiliary window AC for my computer and other electronics.
ReplyDeleteI pity people who don't have AC. I'd probably die from heat. Seriously. Once you have heat stroke, which I had about 10 years ago, you can never get overheated again.
Sounds like you are in your element, though (grin).
We are lucky to have AC and a Floor unit for the sun which doesnt cool things like AC but keeps the sun room bearable. We never had AC as kids and looking back I wonder how we managed
DeleteA nice week for you for sure. I enjoyed mine but the humidity and head could have been a little less for me.My gardens are turning into weed festivals and I had hoped to garden this morning, but not with this rain and thunder. Enjoy your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteEven the weeds need to grow
DeleteNice week! :D (Since you like the heat so much do you ever think of moving to a warmer climate?)
ReplyDeleteIn a heartbeat, but Himself would whine
Delete75 !!!! how neat :)

Ink smiles back

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week! 75 years?? Bless their hearts!!
