How Does Her Garden Grow?

The Eldest's hanging basket and garden flag cheerily welcome visitors.

Her garden frog rolls in the clover and weeds.

She's allowed to plant in the area under her front window and along the side of the entryway. She bought some impatiens, sweet william, and  marigolds to plant. Her hours at the hospital and hot weather kept her from working in her garden. Her birthday outing with us would keep her away from the garden and would have to wait another day.

How does your garden grow?

    1. The hanging petunia basket is gorgeous. A couple of residents from the building across the way told her how lovely it looked.

  2. It's nice she has some garden space at her apartment. Most don't give you that. How does she like living out in PA. I bet you miss her a lot though. No storms today- I hope. Hugs-Erika

    1. It's nice she has a little space for flowers. She loves being on her own. Her dollar goes a lot farther in PA than here. Her rent for a 2BR is 1/4 of what it would cost for a studio or 1 BR here. i love the fact she's financially independent. Has a career instead of just a job, but I wish she wasn't 500 miles away.

  5. Aww. Every garden needs frogs:)
Good for the Eldest. Loving her garden.
I found a teensy frog in the garden, no bigger than my pinkie fingernail. He was coated in dust and looked like a piece of dirt hopping around. He really blended:)

    1. It's nice the landlord lets the tenants have a little garden.

I found a tiny toad in the Zensical garden. I think it was a toad as frogs like water and toads like dry. i tried to get a picture, but he was fast. Looked like a dried up, brown leaf.
