At the beginning of the week, I was too busy with homework for the Book of Marks class. By the end of the week when the class was over, my area was in a deep freeze and it was too cold to go out and take pictures. I took pictures of Harvey, the weather station.

Were you in the deep freeze? How cold did it get at your house?
Yes. The deep freeze was / is awful. It was -4 F here yesterday morning. And the winds. :-( Is it Spring yet?
ReplyDeleteThe winds really wuthered around the eaves!
DeleteYesterday with wind chills I think we were at -32. I didn't leave the house and spent a lot of time next to the woodstove. Wasn't the wind brutal? But it is already warmer today today than it has been for 2 days, and in the 40's for me. I'm as excited as I bet you are. Happy Sunday! hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI just went outside to get the mail as I didn't go out for 2 days. The temp reads 33 and it's still cold!
DeleteThe difference in what counts as cold is fun to note. We have a predicted high today of 58, and our ice has finally melted even on the protected north sides of buildings.
ReplyDelete58 would feel like Summer
Delete88 or even 98 is what I want for my summer
DeleteWe did not get as cold this go around.. thank goodness but still spent a few days not getting above freezing.. but only down to 23 F at the coldest i think.. the cold spell before we got down to 10 F.. Today our high is 77 F! Golf Day!!! lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI'm coming over to your house to play!
DeleteBrrrr! Hang in there! Only 136 more days til summer!
ReplyDeleteTrying! 😺
DeleteYes, it has been brutal here the last few days. I don't know which is worse, the bone-chilling winds (VERY windy!) or the freezing temperatures.
ReplyDeleteI would say the winds because they make the cold feel worse. We're in for a warm up mid-week. I hope you're in that pocket, too.
DeleteA couple days this past week, the overnight feels like temp was -25 F one night and -18 F the next. Believe it or not, I actually turned my whole house heat on for three days! Now I'm basking in 55 F and even the electric heater is turned off (till the sun goes down at least). Stay warm, CJ.
ReplyDeleteFortunately this cold snap was short
DeleteOh, gosh and I dare to complain?! But I´m cold, too. My legs hurt from it (heating turns on soon) and I think my gerbera died.
ReplyDeleteOh, too bad about the gerbera. Maybe once the heating is fixed the gerbera will come back
DeleteOh goodness! Sorry about your weather...
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile here in the UK I enjoyed a leisurely walk and actually saw some early flowering daffodils!
Keep as warm as you can.
All the best Jan
