to be used for mark making in the Book of Marks. The tool is like a mop brush and is made using shoelaces and a dowel. I was able to sip my tea while the glue dried.
Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.
And what do you use this tool for. Or do you use it for making marks with paint or ink? It looks like a cool tool, especially for dusting in between the keys on my laptop. Smile. Happy T day. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYou'll see. The shoelace is a bit wide to get in between the keys on a laptop. I either use a desk vacuum or some electronic slime like stuff.
DeleteCan't wait to see the 'marks' you make!
ReplyDeleteThey aren't that spectacular
DeleteWhat a cool tool. I'd never've thought of it. Happy T Tuesday
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of it either
DeleteDuck tape fixes everything! I'm intrigued to see what you use your tool for, I thought you were going to say it was a paintbrush. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
ReplyDeleteI did say it was like a mop brush

DeleteHow very creative! I wouldn't think to make a tool out of shoe laces. Have fun making marks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,
Kate
I never would have thought of it , either
DeleteI've made several of those mark making tools before, but NEVER one made of shoe laces. Mine were more nature inspired, like grasses, twigs, and strips of leather. I look forward to seeing how you used yours.
ReplyDeleteAs an aside, you have to be sure everything is secure. I remember I didn't get my twigs caught as well as they needed to be and they partially fell apart when I dipped the tool in some craft paint. Rework is always fun (NOT). Yours appears to be assembled well.
Thanks for sharing your tea and your new tool with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
What the glue didn't hold, the duct tape did
DeleteAH! I didn't use glue. Just the tape.
DeleteOh! love your new background!
ReplyDeleteYou´re some MacGyver :-)
