11/11 Sunrise when we got home after dropping the Young One off at Logan Airport at 5:30 AM
Quill waiting for us
Calli wanted pets but didn't want to be touched
Frost
You would never know the Lawn Guy had cleared the leaves
The Japanese Maple hanging on
How does your garden grow?
My mother had a rule about fall leaves...."Not 'til the very last leaf on the very last tree falls shall I rake!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ReplyDeleteYour mother didn't live next door to my neighbors 😺
DeleteNot in my yard but in many others i see flowers and plants getting a second wind... We've had rain and no really COLD temps for any length of time so some drought tolerant plants are really putting on a show right now.. OOooo you had a frost!! brrrr... Quill looks so pretty sitting there waiting for you ... as does Callie deciding if she wants to be petted or not...lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWinter is coming though to me it feels like Winter is here
DeleteAre you holding up OK? She had an early flight, I guess. I hope she's happy in Ohio. I raked a bit today, getting bags stuffed to insulate the beehive. It's looking like November, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteI'm fine. We've messaged a few times so it's almost like she hasn't gone. Feels more like December to me.
DeleteI love the look of maple trees. We don't have in our country. I brought some seeds and tried to germinate but they didn't.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a bit hard when kids fy the nest. Calli is funny! Here there is a saying, 'wash me but don't make me wet!' Valerie
ReplyDeleteFun saying! 😺
DeleteHope Ohio is a hit for your Daughter.
ReplyDeleteHere we´re still in the plus. 2C/35,6F.
We dropped to 26 oF/-3.3 C
DeleteThat's about the only time I'd want my sunshine happening at that ungodly hour of the morning. Your fall color is pretty.
