Whatcha Doin?
Today is prep day for the Thanksgiving holiday. I usually make side dishes and a pie. Since this post is being written ahead of time, I have no clue what I'll be making.
I thought I'd be finishing some baking, but I got it done last night. Plus a text from my sister-in-law saying we didn't need anything else was great. Have fun with your prep. And hope you didn't get any snow.
Today is my day to cook... I make desserts and deviled eggs etc... that gets me out of the kitchen so tomorrow hubby can make the turkey/stuffing... its a team effort around here.. lol Happy Thanksgiving CJ! Hugs! deb
Technically, our Thanksgiving will be Saturday because the Eldest has to work the holiday and Friday. So Himself and I will be celebrating Italian Thanksgiving on Thursday. He did the shopping. He fried the eggplant, and I put it together to make an eggplant Parmigiana. I also made a lasagna. He'll do the washing up, too. Yup, team effort. 😊
Looks like a great deep filled pie - perfect with a bog scoop of ice cream or do you have it with cheese like my friends? We were away on holiday in the Costa Del Sol, Spain enjoying some sunny weather last week ☺️. So lovely! Happy wishes ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
I like my pie either plain or with a dollop of whipped cream. Himself likes ice cream with his pie, but I don't like ice cream in the Winter 🥶Oh, how I envy you on the Costa Del Sol
