T Stands for But First Tea

On Monday mornings, I participate in a Doodling for Stress Reduction class. The suggested doodle was to fill in a shape like a leaf with spirals, curves, and straight lines.

We are always free to do our own thing. So I filled in a mug shape and colored it with watercolor pencils.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. I'd like a mug like that. Any beverage in it would taste good.

  2. Very fun tea mug, and it's perfect for T. That's my kind of stress reduction- art and tea. Have a super T day and I think it's your kind of day temperature wise too.

    1. I think I'd react to the scorpion the same way I react to spiders. I hit the high notes and do a little dance. Have fun at the movies with the Littlest one.

  6. filling in with doodles is always fun. For a while there was an organized thing called “zen tangles” that gave lessons on how to do it, but I think it’s intuitive. I like your image.

  8. What a lovely and calming way to start the week! Your choice to fill a mug shape with doodles instead of the suggested leaf is such a creative personal touch—it fits the "T Stands for" theme beautifully. Using watercolor pencils adds a soft, cozy vibe that perfectly captures the spirit of a tea break. It’s great how the class encourages individual expression. Thanks for sharing this mindful moment, and the reminder to pause for tea (or creativity) on Tuesdays. I'm inspired to join in on the fun with my own mug next week!
