For Mother's Day, the Eldest provided a fancy dessert. Amazing chocolate-covered strawberries and a delightful bottle of Riesling. She knows I like sweet, white wines.

That sounds perfect - chocolate, strawberries and white wine!

DeleteI got a charcuterie board! Aren't we fancy! 😂😂😂
ReplyDeletePinkies up! 🤣
DeleteWhat a fabulous gift! Wow, those huge strawberries look amazing, I bet they were delicious and went well with your sweet white wine - perfect 😊. Wishing you a very Happy T Day! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries were delicious
DeleteThose look delicious and I bet they tasted delicious too. And they're beautiful in that box too. It was a crazy day, so hope it was a happy T day for you.
ReplyDeleteThe strawberries were almost too pretty to eat. Since the weather predicted for Thursday is going to be stormy, I asked Teague if we could make our weekly visit on Tuesday instead. So Tuesday was a fun day.
DeleteA chocolate board looks awesome. those are what I would enjoy.
ReplyDeleteYou have good taste
DeleteI was impressed by the strawberries. They are HUGE! Although I'm not a wine drinker, I have been known to enjoy a sweet dessert wine. Your daughter knows you well. Thanks for sharing your wine and strawberries with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteWe were impressed too. I've seen big strawberries, but never Godzilla size
DeleteI always give food-/drink-pressies, too! Yum, fun, gone. Well, maybe went to your hips (kidding).

DeleteThose strawberries look fab. I bet they were delicious. And so pretty too. I normally don't like sweet wine, but I think with those strawberries, it would be just the ticket!
ReplyDeleteHappy T-Day,
Lisca
