eat your heart out. Not only did Red come for a visit, but she brought me a present. A new tee-shirt with a quote from Diana Gabaldon's Outlander

Fourteen or fifteen years ago, Red got me hooked on the Outlander series. We had taken our girlies to the town beach and Red told me about the books. I'm not much of a romance reader, but Red said I would love the books because  the series wasn't just a romance, or a historical romance, but included time travel. Red was right. I love the series (8 main books, a graphic novel, a spin off series about another character from the books, plus a who's who compendium)

Now I get to show off my fan-girl pride. I love the Tolkien font that was used for the quote on the back of the shirt. Very Celtic.

Starz has produced a series based on the first book. I'm hoping the series is released to DVD so I can see it.
