| The Tower - Mount Auburn Cemetery |
Teague and I took a cemetery hop just outside of Boston on the Cambridge/Watertown line to the
Mount Auburn Cemetery. Founded in 1831, the cemetery became the first garden cemetery in the country. Visitors can walk around the 175 acres of trees, ponds and flowers and can see an amazing and beautiful collection of 19th, 20th, and 21st. century memorials.
In the center of the cemetery is an observation tower honoring George Washington though the tower looks like something out of
Lord of the Rings.  Visitors can climb to the top of the tower and are rewarded with this breath-taking  view of the Boston skyline.
