What's Outside Your Window?

A Mourning Dove has breakfast in the middle of the storm. Hard to say how much snow so far. Early news reports from the next town over reported 10.5 inches of snow and still coming down with blowing and drifting.

It's a good day to stay in and work on projects. I'm working on Christmas gifts.  What are you doing today?

    1. Snow belongs on mountain tops and Christmas cards. I'm glad the roads are cleared.

  6. After hearing about the snow storm in the east I came here to look and see how much you got. We've never gotten 10 " at one time - maybe 5 here and there another 5 added to it on a different day.
good idea to stay in and do christmas stuff.

    1. We didn't get as much snow in my area as predicted. Thank Gawd! Snow totals were expected to be close to 18 inches. Seems the past several years, snow fall isn't measured in inches, but in feet.

    1. Did it miss you? Northern New England wasn't supposed to get much, but the weather dudes change their mind and Northern New England was supposed to get the same about as down here.

  9. Good for you to be ambitious. I wasn't,, except I did go out to clear away the snow so I could put out bird food. I felt bad for them. We had close to 20 inches. And out in Claremont they got over 40. Holy cow. Stay warm and dry. I hop you don't have to shovel. Hugs-Erika

    1. My SIL who lives at the base of Okemo in VT got over 45 in. They couldn't get out of the house! I'm glad we didn't get that much. I did end up going out to shovel. The plow guy didn't plow the snow away from the mailbox. I hope this is the snow for the rest of the Winter.

  11. The sun is out today in a brilliant, but cold (28F) blue sky - first time I've seen anything except grey for a week.
