How Does Your Garden Grow?

The rain didn't stop Chocolate from stopping by for a mid-afternoon snack.

The cardinals, house finch, and squirrel show up for the first seating for dinner.

A little over an inch of rain for the week.

Morning glories on the climb.

Sunflower reaching for the sky.

Morning glories taller than I am, and I'm quite tall for a Hobbit.

This sprung up in the garden overnight. It's the condenser for the mini split.

Hydrangeas put on a  show.

  1. Your garden is looking good. Nice to see all the visitors who turn up for food, here I just have birds and insects visiting on my balcony, apart from an occasional mouse....Have a great Sunday, hugs, Valerie

    1. I love watching the birds and small animals. All the joys of having pets without the work.

  2. Your birds are looking quite happy. Your entire garden looks great. Love the way you introduced the new condenser. The condenser fairies must have worked all night to get it in place!

    1. They worked for 3 days before it sprung from the ground. They'll be back in a few days to check it.

  4. The Hydrangeas are gorgeous!!! Is that one of those 'room' a/c's? The ones where you only turn on in the rooms you want/need? Makes so much more sense than a whole house unit! :0

    1. The hydrangeas haven't looked so good in a long time.

Yes, the mini splits are a heating and AC ductless unit. Mounted on the wall heats or cools the room as needed. We installed 4 units, one for the livingroom/dining room & kitchen, one for each bedroom. All are connected to the one compressor.

  5. The gardens are loving this weather this year- better than last year's drought. You're lucky to have bunnies. But I suppose if they ate away your plants you wouldn't want me saying that. :) Happy new week. Hugs-Erika
