Second on the Second - Paintings
Last month during a T Stands For, I mentioned I had been commissioned to paint Five Shaolin Animals for the dojo where Himself takes classes and teaches. I had a request to show close-ups of the paintings.
I had documented steps for the paintings. If interested, you can read the process and see close-ups of the works in progress.

Your animal paintings are magnificent, love them all. So glad I got a chance to see them 'second time round'. Have a great Sunday, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks, Valerie
Deleteenjoyed seeing your second time around paintings
ReplyDeleteHugs Kathy
Thanks for dropping by.
DeleteHow exciting to have your paintings on the wall someplace various people can see them. I think that's exciting, and I love all the in process links too.:) Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty cool since a lot of my artwork get thrown away (i.e. invitation envelopes)
DeleteOH! You're gonna be FAMOUS! :D (they should add an attribution and a bio on you though....just sayin'.)
ReplyDelete:-D I'll take it up with the owner of the studio.
DeleteThanks for sharing these beauties again. I only saw the first photo before, but I got caught up in reading about the various beauties you created. Laughed at Fluffy. Yes, everyone's a critic, especially the young ones!
ReplyDeleteThese are simply wonderful and, like Erika, I think it must be exciting to have your paintings on display in a place where they can be appreciated and respected. Thanks for sharing this second look with us on the 2nd.
The story of Fluffy still makes me laugh. Everyone may be a critic, but at least they are taking time to look and notice. :-D
DeleteI hadn't seen those yet so it was a first for me. What a great set of paintings. Well done you!
ReplyDeleteInteresting to see the process too!
Have a great Sunday,
Lisca
Thanks, Lisca
DeleteWell done on your commission and the amazing paintings
ReplyDeleteLove Chrissie xx
Thanks, Chrissie
DeleteIt was great to see the wip pics! Love the idea of a tiger called Fluffy! The dojo is a fitting place for these to be on display! Hugs, Chrisx
ReplyDeleteTigers are just big kitties, and as I was painting him, he just looked like a Fluffy :-D
DeleteWay to go, CJ!
ReplyDeleteI particularly like Enter The Dragon.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Thanks, Sandra
