The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. The last day of Himself's Spring Break, we went out to lunch and then went to see The Black Panther.

2. Just as we were sitting down to St. Patrick's Day dinner, I saw the male cardinal at the feeder. Dad stopping by for his birthday celebration.

3. The Young One picked out yarn for a shawl to complete her outfit for a wedding she'll be attending in May.

4. Went out to dinner and then went with Himself to a QiGong session.

5. The Four'easter, the fourth Nor'easter storm this month, fizzled before it got to us. I'm not complaining.

How was your week?

  1. I'm glad the storm didn't visit you again. It sounds like a good week. Mine was good, too - Chinese dinner, magic mountain and the weather is getting milder! Happy Friday, hugs, Valerie

    1. We have a few more days of cold weather before the temps warm up mid-week.

  4. Seems like these were all good news, especially the last one. No one needs more snow, although I could still do with some moisture.

How great that your hubby was on Spring Break. The kids where I live have this next week off.

    1. Himself's Spring Break always coincides with St. Patrick's Day. Himself teaches at a state college and St. Patrick's Day is a holiday in Boston and in Suffolk County only. The holiday is Evacuation Day, the day the British troops were withdrawn out of Boston in in 1776. So by having Spring Break coincide with Evacuation Day, holiday and holiday pay kills two birds with one stone.

  5. SO glad you didn't get our storm. Oddly enough, it did not stick around since we had 45 degree weather the next day! LOL!

Yup, must have been your dad alright. I believe what they say about cardinals is true!

    1. Me, too, as I only see the Cardinal at certain times or if I'm feeling a little down.
