T Stands for Pi Day Apple Pie
To celebrate Pi Day on March 14, I baked an apple pie. Himself's favorite pie. For the steam vent, I cut the symbol for Pi. Apples used were McIntosh and Granny Smith apples. The pie crust was courtesy of the Dough Boy. Next to the pie is my evening cuppa. Himself had a glass of milk.
Did you celebrate Pi Day?
Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

Zhat apple pie looks VERY yummy. I didn't celebrate pi day but it's a great idea if you get to eat pie! Off to the dentist now! Happy T Day, hugs, valerie
ReplyDeleteWhich reminds me I'm over due for the dentist.
DeleteYum. Apple pie and vanilla ice cream would taste good for breakfast today. I like your steam vent. No Pie for us on pi day this year. But your pie is making me think we should have had some. :) Happy T day CJ. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteToo bad the apple pie is all gone. We didn't have vanilla ice cream just whipped topping. The Pi Day celebration started when the girlies were little, and I've just kept it up.
DeleteYour pie looks so scrummy! I love how you used the Pi symbol too, so clever 😁. We didn't celebrate, maybe we will next year though, such fun! Thanks for sharing and wishing you a Happy T Day! J 😊

ReplyDeleteIt was!
DeleteI am having a terrible week. I can’t stop coughing, my internet keeps going offline, and my keyboard works about half the time.
ReplyDeleteI realize I’m not a very good host, but want to thank you for sharing T with us this Tuesday. Happy Vernal Equinox, too.
YES, I am a math geek and am saddened by Hawking's death. Such a great thinker and innovator. I've even read his T O E.
Poor you. I hope you feel better soon and your keyboard and Internet behave. Happy First Day of Spring!
DeleteLove how you used the PI symbol on your pie:) Don't celebrate nor do I remember much about it. Good excuse to make a yummy pie though:) Happy T day!

ReplyDeleteI love pie....
That Dough Boy makes a pretty mean crust. =^,.^=
DeleteWe usually have fruit pie for Pi Day, but this year we had pizza pie. We do get a kick out of the off-beat days. Today, for example, is Alien Abduction Day lol Hide! You know that never ends well ;)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about Alien Abduction Day. Too fun!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! It's still too cold to plant the garden yet but starting the seeds in their "mini green houses" gives them a great head start and keeps my windows clear for the cats to set and watch the birds outside.
Happy Late T Day!
Carol
With so much snow still on the ground, I'm wondering whether I should start my seeds yet
