The Blue Jay was loudly complaining Timex was hogging all the birdseed.
Corolla came to the sun room door to say hello and to challenge me to a staring contest.
After the game, he ate his lunch
and then had a Heavenly Blue Morning Glory leaf for dessert!
The Maple out front is starting to change color
and drop its leaves
Heavy downpours and breezes took down a clump of Oak leaves
2 inches of rain for the week
And grudgingly I welcome Fall.
How does your garden grow?
Great garden pics ... always a pleasure to see Corolla!
ReplyDeleteI know how much you wanted to grasp on to summer, but your fall decorations are lovely all the same!
I'll have to get the Halloween decorations out for next week to take the sting out of the cooler weather.
DeleteLovely photos, especially the sweet bunnies. We welcomed autumn today. It's wild, wet and windy and cold! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day for some hot chocolate.
DeleteWho won the staring contest? ;)
ReplyDeleteI did as I stared at him in horror as he ate the Morning Glory leaf!
DeleteLove those bunny shots. Your garden is like mine. It is still going but definitely looking a little bit tired. In fact, with the chill we ahead I think I need to move a few plants back inside. Now that is sad news. Happy rest of your weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThe only things in the garden that aren't worn out are the chipmunks and bunnies.
DeleteI enjoy seasonal changes, so I'm happy to see your fall leaves and rain. It's slow coming here, and hope we get an actual Autumn this year. Sometimes it feels like we move directly from hot sunshine to cold with no crisp fall days at all. I'm sure Corolla isn't looking forward to cooler temps. Chipmunks will hide out more in the winter, so maybe our birdseed will last longer ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not looking forward to cooler temps :-D
DeleteI'm loving the colors of those autumn leaves. They are beautiful. Of course, I always love it when you share bunnies in your garden posts, too!
ReplyDeleteI have to change our wreath on the outside of our door! Thanks for reminding me CJ! I love your garden pictures! Our bluejays are back too! Love your bunny! Happy fall!
