Wordy Wednesday
This image is so wrong! Taken outside my local grocery store on 2. September 2018. What's wrong with it, you ask? Pumpkins! Pumpkins are on display. It's too early! There's still 16 days left of SUMMER. Don't rush the season!
They do tend to be over-ready to market for the coming season, don't they. I haven't seen pumpkins on display yet. It's still so hot, I'm thinking they wouldn't last long outside here. I'm going to the grocery today, though, and we'll see what they've got....
I am SO ready for autumn. This heat is a real killer. I want cool. The craft stores already have their Halloween stuff out. I know YOU want to hold on to summer, but I HATE it. At least in winter, I can add more clothes. Can't take enough off to stay cool AND decent in public, though.
But the pumpkins are so pretty. Some stores here already have Christmas stuff on display! Valerie

ReplyDeleteI want to hold on to Summer because Winter lasts so long and snow is measured in feet. At lleast humidity doesn’t need to be shoveled 😉
