Five things that happened this week.1. The hummingbird came to check out the honeysuckle vine.
2.My Amazon order arrived in a fun box.
3. Spent time arting in the sun room.
4. Himself DVRd two of my favorite movies for me. The Boy with Green Hair and Leslie Howard as The Scarlet Pimpernel.
5. I took a trip to the wilds of western Massachusetts.

Glad you had a good week. I remember the Scarlet Pimpernel from my childhood days - 'They seek him here, they seek him there, that damned, elusive pimpernel'. Strange what things linger for ever in the depths of the brain! Valerie

DeleteMy week was not as exciting as yours. But kids finish up today and then I just have a couple of work days left. What fun thing did you do in the wilds of western Mass? Or at least I hope it was fun. Hugs-Erika

DeleteMy honeysuckle vine is blooming nicely this year, and the hummingbirds are favoring it over the feeder. I love deliveries and sun rooms, so I'm happy for your joy :) We have Scarlet Pimpernel on DVD as it's always been one of my husband's favorites. We can recite dialog along with the characters lol I _love_ The Boy with Green Hair! I used to have a VHS recorded off the TV from decades ago. I look forward to hearing about your trip. What an enjoyable week!

DeleteBesides cardinals, hummingbirds are other birds I haven't seen in a few years. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteMy week: work in basement to make sure there's no mold. Mow lawn for first time since the onslaught of flooding. Plant two tomatoes that should have been planted last month.
All in all, I would gladly trade my week for yours!!!
