T Stands for Happy Mail and a Cuppa

From Nan, a wonderfully flourished envelope and a sweet card.

The sentiment on the card: I really really wish you lived down the street with a picture of two coffee/tea mugs.

Nan, I wish we lived closer, too. Hopefully, it won't be long before we can get together in person for that cuppa.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  1. That is an adorable card from Nan CJ. I love the little mugs. And nice to get happy mail too. Have a great T day and hope if it has to be cloudy we get rain. We sure need it.

    1. When I saw the card with the little mugs I thought it had to be a T Day post. If it has to rain, it should rain during the night and be sunny during the day

  3. Virtual/online gatherings and contacts have been a joy for me. I don't even need video. In-person would add another layer of joy :) Happy T Tuesday!

    1. Nan and I Skype a couple of times a month and it’s great. But it would be more fun to be in person.

  4. Wouldn't it be fun if we all could get together in person and have a drink -- whatever our favorite drink is that day!

  7. I'm with Mae. It would really be great to get together and share a drink of our choice. I love that card and the two mugs are incredible. She and you share a common love of calligraphy and it shows. Thanks for sharing this great happy mail turned art with us fr T this Tuesday, dear CJ. BTW, I've already started to use some of the gifts you sent me.

  10. What a lovely card and sentiment. Most of us don't get to live down the street from our besties but it is always nice to dream. Hope you and your friend get together soon over that cuppa.

  15. you get such nice mail. i was just thinking the same thing about a friend i've known for 20 years but who i actually never met in person. we met at a "spiritual" forum and hit it off. I actually met her husband before he was her husband when he met my sis and i at an airport in Portland before we traveled on to idaho ....we all knew each other from this forum. Her sense of humor is so outrageous and she is a songwriter and beautiful voice she has. i was telling mike this morning i wish she and i lived close - i would be laughing all the time.
