T Stands for Indigo Dye - Part 1

Grab your favorite beverage and watch how indigo dye is made. The video is very meditative.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  5. That dog was vocal. I enjoyed this video. It wasn't all that meditative to me when the dog let out a big bark every so often, but I still enjoyed it. thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

  8. That was beautiful! I enjoyed that. I really did make myself a large cup of licorice tea and watched it. I hope there is more to come as I want to see what the finished material is going to look like. It probably will look like batik, as it looked like she was applying that technique. As I write this I am sitting under a large piece of Indonesian batik which is about 100 years old.I will feature it in my next Tuesday blog (If I remember).
Thanks for sharing this. I wish I could read the Chinese as I'd love to know what the chemicals are that she puts in. It is quite a process!
    Happy T-Day,
    Hugs,
