The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1.  Enjoyed a nice lunch with Himself's teaching assistant and her husband.

2. The Littles were excited to see Santa zoom by in the fire truck

3. Fingers crossed we found someone to plow the driveway

4. I taught two lively classes of 4th graders illuminated initials.

5. Himself did take-out for dinner.

How was your week?

  1. Glad it was a good week. Mine was fun (some shopping with a friend) and productive (lots of reading, a bit of cleaning, some art, and a bit of baking). But this snow today...are getting snow or rain?

    1. That is a fun week. The rte2 are is getting the snow. We're just getting rain and wind. All the snow from last week washed away

  2. My week? As the saying goes....SSDD (same stuff, different day) just the way I like it!

  3. I'm so glad when this day comes around and you remind me to count my blessings CJ!
    - i don't think you know but hubby tried to cut his fingers off in his workshop with a jointer ...yeah.. so 3 hours, 12 stitches , one broke finger later he still has his fingers
    - Beautiful warm sunny days turned into beautiful cold sunny days... gorgeous!
    - Koi painting is coming along swimmingly if slowly
-Even with budgets being stretched the grandlittles are going to have a nice Christmas..
    - Found a spectacular bronze statue at a Antique/FleaMkt that was a cowboy and his horse and the cowboy was off his horse hitting a golf ball.. Thought of our Rancher friend that would LOVE it...You don't often find the PERFECT piece for someone..
-Working on some old projects that have sat around for years... good to get them done..
Sounds like you had a nice and busy week. You amaze me teaching those 4th graders! Hugs! deb

    1. Other than 12 stitches and the wait in the ER, you sound like you had an awesome week. The golfing cowboy sounds like a very cool find!

  4. Five good things indeed. Have a great weekend.

  5. They sound good.

I think I too would smile if I saw Santa zooming by in a fire truck.

    Enjoy your weekend.

    All the best Jan

  6. For the first time in years I am sick. But Ingo takes good care of me - every day, makes five, too :-)

  7. A week filled with fun! My daughter texted me a photo of a snow plow (she lives in MN), and I texted back, "What is that strange-looking truck?" She laughed at me lol

  8. And the little princess didn't have to cook several days last week! Good for you.

My week was NOT SSDD for a change.

    Friday, went to a funeral
Also went to Spice Merchant with Scott
Scott worked on my scanner while I made potato soup, which I have eaten until today.
Saturday I met Ian McNeice and Victor Hogstrum, President and CEO of PBS Kansas. Ate cookies!
Sunday my laser printer is working again and I have a scanner, but the printer still doesn't work, which doesn't bother me as long as my laser printer prints!
Monday Sally brought me a pumpkin pie that I've been Jonesing for.
