How was your week?
It's been a good week because I have had some quality at home time for the last 3 days. I am loving that after too many weeks with too much on the calendar. And today I'm meeting a friend for lunch and a walk. Your week sounds perfect. Just buys enough, just fun enough, and even festive too. They say our weather is going to change later next week, but no snow in the forecast this weekend. How about you? Happy Friday. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like we may get dusting to an inch or two
Delete- Made the decision to not decorate this year for Christmas. We haven't had a 'scrooge' year since hubs heart operation three years ago. I'm the Christmas person, so i give hubs a scrooge year every so often
ReplyDelete- Made plans to walk along the River and see the lights
- Played golf twice... one time i played amazingly well the second not so much...
- Absolutely beautiful temperatures in the middle of Dec
- Great headway on the koi paining .. all the gold is painted in..
Sounds like you had a beautiful week CJ... I see you are at 34 degrees F this morning.. we are 61 with Fog! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs! deb
My decorating isn't nearly as elaborate as it was when the girlies were little. I don't think Himself would let me skip the decorating. I invited The Brother and The Nephew and their families to watch Santa being driven by the house on Sunday on the back of the fire truck lights and sirens going. I thought the Nephew's littles would get a kick out of waving to Santa from the front yard. So not only do I have to put up decorations, but now I have to clean!!! 😺
DeleteGood week here too! Fever broke and I'm finally on the mend! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's great news, and I'm so glad you're feeling better.
DeleteDiscount stores are a seasonal joy, aren't they :) And cute Christmas mugs :) I've run out of room, but I can still appreciate them when I see them.
ReplyDeletethere were so many fun decorations and stuff in the discount stores
DeleteI've put out just my favorite trees this year and left the rest boxed. Somehow, I'm not in the mood for Christmas and with my sewing machine on the fritz, I'm even further behind.
ReplyDeleteYou had a good week and I see another day out to lunch. Lucky you, dear Princess.
I had 3 lunch outings this week. I just didn't mention 2 of them. Little Princess, indeed. 😉
DeleteShopping and Quill helping are my favs. I was sick but since today all good. A little late...
ReplyDeleteOH, but! Our project was accepted (for now) - that counts as good for the whole week! Or month(s)!
Gut gemacht, Du!
DeleteDollar stores are always good. Quill looks good with the decorations. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI think he wants to be part of the Christmas pageant
DeleteOoh, sounds like a productive week as well. Our local Kmart recently went out of business and there will be an Ocean State Job Lots opening up here soon. Never heard of them ever before. Sounds interesting though. Quill is so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Ocean State Job Lots (from Rhode Island) is a close-out, fire sale type store. They have lots of good bargains on clothing, pets, stuff for the home. Oh, and a selection of fancy type cookies! You can't go shopping there with the idea of buying a specific thing as they might not have it this week. So when you see something you like, pick it up as they might not have it again.
